The role of Tribunal Secretaries is still very much shrouded in mystery, with their exact role and duties being shaped by the personalities and preferences of the Tribunals that they serve, and circumscribed by the applicable rules in an arbitration.

This course, taught by experienced Tribunal Secretaries who also serve as Arbitrators and/or Counsel, seeks to lift the veil on the role and duties of Tribunal Secretaries at the various stages of the arbitration process, how they are appointed, their interactions with Tribunals and Parties, and provides an insight into how they support Tribunals and facilitate the arbitration process.
