ICCA 2024 Hong Kong
From 5 to 8 May, Hong Kong will host the ICCA Congress, the largest global professional gathering of the international arbitration community, attracting delegates from all over the world.
ICCA promotes the development of arbitration, mediation and other dispute resolution methods, through conferences, publications and projects to harmonise arbitration and conciliation rules, laws, procedures and standards. The last ICCA Congress, in Edinburgh in September 2022, attracted over 1,200 professionals from around the world, and we are expecting a similar attendance in Hong Kong – from the local legal community here, as well as from across China and abroad.
Organised by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, the theme of the Hong Kong Congress is “International Arbitration: A Human Endeavour” – a critical topic for all of us in international arbitration in a world of rapid political, cultural and digital transformation.
There will be an Opening Ceremony on 5 May at the Rosewood Hotel, and a Gala Dinner on 7 May at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. During the Congress, various sponsors will host receptions, breakfast seminars, lunch seminars, and social events.
