CALDERWOOD James: is a Chartered Accountant with four and a half years of professional experience in undertaking forensic accountancy.  He is a Manager in Mazars’ Singapore office, having previously been based in London. 

James’ experience covers a range of expert witness and advisory assignments in the context of both commercial and international arbitration, as well as litigation in a range of national contexts, and expert determinations.  James’ recent case experience has focused on the quantification of damages, as well as technical accounting disputes, in respect of post M&A claims and loss of profits claims across a number of sectors, including life sciences, energy & infrastructure, and financial services.

CRUZ Rafael: is a Philippine-qualified lawyer and registered foreign lawyer in Vietnam. He is currently with Frasers Law Company in Ho Chi Minh City, where he focuses on arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.

Rafael draws from experience in both disputes and transactional work, bringing both perspectives together to provide a risk management approach in advising clients. He has acted for clients in various industries, from media, aviation, healthcare, shared services, telecommunication, energy, and manufacturing. He has acted as both advocate and advisor in a wide range of commercial disputes, such as those involving cross-border sales, service contracts, competition, construction, and non-contractual claims. His experience includes highly sensitive matters concerning public policy, government contracts, financial crime, and fraud. He began his practice in the Manila office of an international law group, and previously served on the board of the Philippine Institute of Arbitrators.

MAHESH Akhil: is a Principal Associate at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and is based out of Mumbai. Akhil is an India qualified lawyer, and graduated from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi in 2017. Akhil’s practice focuses on arbitration and general commercial litigation, and he has advised and represented clients in various types of disputes which include commercial and contractual disputes, white-collar crimes, shareholder disputes, construction disputes, tenancy disputes, film & media matters, writs, Public Interest Litigation etc.

MEHTA Yashna: is a Senior Associate at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, Delhi. She has worked closely on matters pertaining to arbitration, commercial litigation, insolvency law and securities law. 

Yashna has recently received Business World Legal’s 30 under 30 award for award for lawyers and legal influencers for her expertise and contribution to the field. Yashna has participated in both institutional and ad hoc arbitrations in high value matters. Yashna has even been involved in several other marquee matters such as the dispute concerning the removal of Mr. Cyrus Mistry as the Chairman of Tata Sons, the cancellation of a buyback offer announced by PC Jewellers etc. Yashna has further received an Excellence Award from the Alexis Group for her impact to the legal field and holds a distinction from Queen Mary University of London in Company Valuation, Corporate Law & Governance and International Business. She is an editor of the Indian Review of International Arbitration, has been a part of the peer review panel of the NLIU CRIL Journal on International Law and has been an Editor of the Indian Journal of International Economic Law.

PYARE Kshipra: is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution practice at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. in New Delhi, India. She is India-qualified and her practice focuses on international arbitration and commercial disputes litigation. She acts for clients in ad-hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings as well as arbitration-related court proceedings, with a focus on construction, private equity and shareholder disputes.

VAN DER KAMP Jessica: is a Senior Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice of Mayer Brown in Hong Kong. She represents clients across Asia, African and the Middle East as counsel in both arbitrations and court litigation, with a focus on environment, town planning, construction, and general commercial disputes. Jessica is admitted in Hong Kong and is also a Solicitor Advocate with High Rights of Audience in Civil Proceedings.

YOO Jennifer: is a partner at Peter & Kim in Seoul and is dual qualified in Korea (2015) and New York (2023). Jennifer has represented and advised clients on a wide range of international arbitration and cross-border litigation cases. In particular, she has participated in a number of disputes relating to large scale construction or development projects, involving multiple claims, parties, experts and counsel. She is also experienced in insurance disputes, and has expertise in private international law and international trade law issues. 

Jennifer frequently advises clients on international arbitration procedures, challenges and enforcement of international arbitral awards, and interim measures in respect of arbitration proceedings. She is bilingual in Korean and English.

YU Victoria: is a Senior Associate in the Banking & Financial Disputes Practice at WongPartnership LLP. Her practice involves providing legal and strategic advice to major conglomerates and banks across a wide range of matters. She has also acted for these clients at all levels of the Singapore Courts, which includes multiple cross-border disputes at the Singapore International Commercial Court, Singapore High Court, and the Singapore Court of Appeal.
