DELOS SUPPORTS ARBITRATION PRACTITIONERS AND IN-HOUSE COUNSEL WITH EFFECTIVE ACCESS TO KEY INSIGHTS
TECH x IA
The intersection of technology and international arbitration is not only topical, it is also shaping (our perception of) the future of international arbitration practice.
Delos accordingly created the Tech Channel to help practitioners stay abreast of tech developments relevant to the practice of IA (and dispute resolution). You can sign up for this below and download past episodes here:
- Episode 1 on 24 March 2020
- Episode 2 on 30 June 2020
- Episode 3 on 10 February 2021
- Episode 4 on 5 October 2021
- Episode 5 on 23 February 2022
- Episode 6 on 15 June 2022 - 2-year anniversary edition
In addition, Delos has made available an introduction to blockchain and smart contracts, and how these might fit in with arbitration and published as part of the 2nd edition of its Guide to Arbitration Places (GAP) the first systematic review of the compatibility of national legislation on blockchain and electronic and digital signatures with the practice of international arbitration. A related report on the e-signature of awards is available here.
The GAP also includes a systematic review of national legislation relevant to the conduct of remote hearings. More information about remote hearings can be found on our dedicated resource page, and empirical data about the arbitration community's engagement with remote hearings as of June-July 2020 is available here.
Delos members are regular speakers at tech x IA / (legal)tech events. For more information, please contact Mihaela Apostol at the tech-channel@delosdr.org.
