On Wednesday 13 November, at the Ritz-Carlton (DIFC) in Dubai, we discussed critical issues and evolving practices in arbitration amid global uncertainties.

This engaging event, co-hosted with Morgan Lewis as part of Dubai Arbitration Week, featured Isaiah Bozimo SAN (Broderick Bozimo & Company), Sara K. Aranjo (Morgan Lewis), Katriina Kuusniemi (Dubai Holding), Reza Mohtashami KC (Three Crowns), and Hafez Virjee (Delos Dispute Resolution).

Among other topics, the speakers explored how crisis and political changes impact the field of arbitration and the role it plays from the perspective of the modern GC, how arbitration practitioners are adapting to change including in terms of their business models, and the sources and relevance of innovation in arbitration.
