FACULTY FOR TLC – THE COURSE ON 'THINKING LIKE CLIENTS'

From left to right, we are honoured to have Paul Werné (chair), Elizabeth Kong Sau Wai, Katriina Kuusniemi, Sebastián Partida, Dr Gregory Travaini, and Murtaza Virani as our faculty of seasoned general counsel and senior in-house counsel. Their short bios are set out below.
Dr. Sebastián Partida is Senior Counsel for EMEA and LATAM at Adobe, based in Paris, France. He brings extensive international experience from previous roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Bouygues Construction, and TotalEnergies, advising on complex matters across the technology, infrastructure, and energy sectors.
Sebastián holds a PhD in Law from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, specializing in international arbitration. His practice covers a broad range of areas, including commercial and technology transactions, contract law, complex negotiations, litigation management, cross-border disputes, and international arbitration.
He is an active member of ICC France’s In-House Counsel Group and the Artificial Intelligence Scientific Committee of the French In-House Counsel Association (AFJE), where he contributes to thought leadership on the evolving role of corporate legal teams. In parallel, he teaches arbitration at the Paris Bar School (École du Barreau de Paris), sharing his expertise with future practitioners.
