During these unprecedented times, Delos has been at the forefront in providing pragmatic, innovative solutions to support the international arbitration community, and in thought leadership on the issues raised by the pandemic.

Particularly as regards hearings, Delos published in March 2020 a checklist on holding arbitration and mediation hearings in times of COVID-19. The list was referenced in three GAR articles (here, here and here), it has been featured by the SCC and VIAC amongst other institutions, and it has been referenced in multiple publications and webinars.

Since April 2020, Delos has been running a webinar series known as In conversation with Neil, during which Neil Kaplan CBE QC SBS has notably been discussing on a weekly basis the merits of virtual hearings with leading figures in international arbitration. The webinar recordings are available here.

In May 2020, Delos published a listing of resources on holding remote or virtual arbitration and mediation hearings, which has been kept up-to-date. This listing has been referenced in multiple webinars.

In June 2020, Delos and LONDAP are proud to support the initiative by Gary Born, Anneliese Day QC and Hafez Virjee to launch a comprehensive survey on users' views and experiences with remote hearings. We encourage you to fill it out by the survey deadline on Monday 6 July 2020.
