PRESS RELEASE OF 28 NOVEMBER 2017
In July this year, Delos announced the launch of an international study to develop a Guide to Arbitration Places, known as the ‘GAP’. The Guide is designed to assist in-house counsel, corporate lawyers and arbitration practitioners with efficiently accessing key insights into a large range of jurisdictions, including for the purposes of negotiating the choice of arbitral seats and conducting arbitral proceedings in those jurisdictions. The Guide will be published online in 2018 and made freely accessible. The initiative is chaired by Professors David D Caron and Maxi Scherer.
Last week, Delos announced the list of sixty-eight reputed, leading law firms contributing chapters to the Guide.
In addition to the law firms, Delos is honoured to count on the support of a talented international group of experienced young practitioners (‘EYPs’) for the editorial review of the Guide. The list of seventy-three EYPs is presented in the table overleaf and reflects the diversity of the international arbitration community.
Please note that the first column indicates (one of) the EYPs’ country(-ies) of nationality, the second column states their first name and LAST NAME and is linked to their LinkedIn profiles, where available, and the third column indicates the name of their firm or other professional organisation (save for independent practitioners) and is linked to their firm bio or equivalent should you wish to contact them via their professional e-mail address.
Lastly, the General Editors of the Guide are Thomas Granier and Hafez R Virjee. They can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org for further information on this initiative.
